An evaluation About - Thomas the Tank Engine

Everybody, especially children are well aware of the cartoon 'Thomas and Friends'. This cartoon is dependant on the fictional steam locomotive engine 'Thomas the tank engine' book compiled by Rev. W. Awdry and his son Christopher. This character became most widely used and first appeared in the second book in the series of 'Thomas and Friends' and named as 'Thomas the tank engine'. The first series was broadcast in 1984 on Children's ITV in Uk. The rail engines were animated pictures with all the humans as static and also the engines talking among themselves.Quinceanera Dresses

As per the fiction nowhere tank engine named as Thomas lived in the fictional island of Sodor. He is always kind hearted and first one to give bit of support to other engines. He shunted the coaches for that Henry and Gordon, the primary line engines.Evening Dresses

Thomas, the tank engine, is depicted as cheeky having short stumpy funnel, dome and boiler with 6 six wheels. He is painted in NWR's standard blue livery; red and yellow linings are coated and numbered as "1" in yellow inside a red border painted on each side from the tank sides. About the back from the bunker Thomas has red lining.

The episodes are pictured as a few of the trains are in mishap and Thomas rendering a helping hand to those. Occasionally Thomas love to tease other engines. He is impatient sometimes and forgetful. But he is really optimistic and very ideal. He is shown because he learns by experience. Always thinks that anything could be made by him and face new challenges with courage and wisdom. Unknowingly he wanted to serve as passengers and freight engine and turns out to be the best.

Percy is portrayed as the Thomas closest friend. Another engine characters depicted are Henry, Edward, Gordon, James, Toby, Bertie and Trevor etc.

Edward may be the oldest engine train and also the courageous and kind hearted keen in assisting friends in mishaps. He is hard worker and does the best job. Other engines considered Edward as rather old fashioned and slow.

He is depicted as just like Thomas, the tank engine, except for the tank and his sides are written as '2' in yellow and red border.

These railway series are written in order to catch the attention from the kids in railways and moral values are explained in the last from the chapters. Hence it works as a medium of moral values.
